You won't find eggs as they are highly sticky and rather small. Any eggs you may find will not develop! Only healthy eggs literally adhese to the peat. Kepp the peat moister than for Nothos, store fairly warm and try after 3 months, then every 2 weeks until 6 months. Not every months as late eggs will develop immediately after a wet and die off if stored for too long then. This to me is the main reason for low hatches in Callopanchax. There are a few pops in the hobby still but sadly many have vanished simply because people treat them like Fundulopanchax which they are definitely not in any way.
